LifeLines Ministries exists to bless our communities through quality and custom designed training programs. Therefore, when we provide trainings locally (Richmond, VA area), we ask for a love offering which covers our copying expenses. When trainings outside of Richmond are requested, we ask to have lodging and transportation paid for, but the cost for the training will continue to be a love offering.

Trainers Enjoying Curriculum Training Session

Ringside Coach Training
LifeLines Ministries, Inc has received a grant from the Virginia Department of Health to provide "Teen Dating Violence Prevention" training in the State of Virginia via a "primary prevention" approach. This training will provide activities to assist teens in "Making Healthy Choices When Assessing Relationships". It focuses on training adults to foster relationships with teens, and describes how to build on those relationships to insure sound decision making of teens.

This curriculum is taken from the "Choose Respect" Playbook and is based on a primary prevention model entitled, "Ringside Coach". The curriculum was published by the Center for Disease Control and has been sited as a very useful approach to use with teens. It is a Teen Dating Violence Prevention model and can be used as an Anti-Bullying model. Click here for more info on the curriculum.

Call LifeLines to schedule a Saturday before May 28, 2011 and a time that is convenient with your organization.
